Seattle | Bellevue Dr Philip Young Skin Cancer | MOH’s Reconstruction: Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States, with over 500,000 new cases reported each year and rising. While skin cancers can be found on any part of the body, about 80 percent appear on the face, head, or neck, where they can be disfiguring as well as dangerous.
Most skin cancers are removed surgically, using local anesthesia. The procedure may be a simple excision which can leave a barely visible scar. At times, more complex removal may need to be involved along with complex reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Young is an experienced Seattle / Bellevue facial cosmetic surgeon who is highly trained in skin cancer removal and Moh’s / Skin Cancer Reconstruction. His repertoire of skills range from simple scar revision to complex transfer of tissue flaps which allows him to accurately repair damaged tissue and restore a natural, healthy appearance.
