SKINCARE | INTENSE PULSE LIGHT LEARNING VIDEOSBellevue & Seattle

Live Demonstration of Intense Pulse Light Below:

This is a live demonstration of using Intense Pulse Light to reduce red vessels and general redness on the face. This particular video demonstrates our usage of a test spot prior to the more definitive treatment. Using test spots allows us to determine the adequate settings to use for each individual. Through the use of a test spot, you can assess if there is too much or not enough energy for that particular person. If all of the skin is red in the area tested, then you might want to consider decreasing your energy.

If the particular lesion (red vessel, sun spot) is red and the rest of the area is much less red in the area tested, this energy level appears to the most adequate. If no area is red in the treated test spot area, you need to increase the energy. Through the use of the test spot, you can avoid problems such as burns and you can also more assuredly find the right settings to get the most benefit from that particular treatment session and optimize your experience with the best results each treatment.

This is a live demonstration of using Intense Pulse Light (or IPL for short) to reduce unwanted redness, and reduce red vessels in the face. It is done under no anesthesia, there is minimal downtime, you usually can go back to work right afterward, and there is mild discomfort. IPL can also be used for many other lesions including scars, telangiectasias, rosacea, reduce unwanted hairs, sun spots, and reduce unwanted pigmentation.
