Jaw Stretching Exercises to Stretch out your Jaws after Lateral Silicone Implants for the Angle of the Jaw

Lateral Silicone Jaw implants are used to widen the lower third of the face in order to make you appear more masculine, more manly, or balance your face to make you look more beautiful. It can be used for both females and males and it can beautify both gender's facial appearances. The implant is placed through an incision in the lower part of your jaw next to your jaw and teeth. A plane is developed along the bone and implants placed on the side of your jaw after the angle of the jaws are exposed and dissected. It is often screwed in place. We always screw in Jaw Implants in our practice so that they don't move. Now because of the controlled trauma your Jaw implants and the surgery tend to make your jaw feel stiff after surgery. This is a normal occurrence and is somewhat unavoidable. In order to stretch out your jaws we will recommend this exercise as we will further explain. But we recommend not stretching your jaw until at least 2 to 4 weeks after your procedure and it's better to stretch it out four weeks after your procedure. In the picture below you will see Dr. Young with a tongue blade in his mouth and what you notice is that the tongue blades are situated in such a way that they're in between his teeth. The way to stretch out your jaw progressively is to add more tongue blades in between the other tongue blades in order to stretch out your jaws. We recommend you do this very slowly. The risk of doing it too fast is to cause further damage to your jaws and maybe dislodge your implants. So you don't want to go too fast on this. Again, we recommend going very slowly maybe adding a stick every other day or every 3 days or every 4 days or every day depending on how you tolerate it. You don't want to cause extreme pain. It has to be something tolerable.
