Why Patients Choose Dr. Young

Learn why an NBA head coach, a Grammy nominee, Seattle & New York Broadway lead actresses, executives of Fortune 500 companies, and the owner of the Northwest Women’s Show chose Seattle’s facial surgeon, Dr. Philip Young, and his team.

Your Consultation Process

Our consultation process begins when you email, call 425-990-3223, or text 425-341-3893 to set up an appointment. If you are from out of town, we can help you set up a phone consultation. You’ll be able to get some of your questions answered.

Preparing for Your Visit

We have a Plastic Surgery Patient Consultation Form and our General, Photo, and HIPAA consent form (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) that you can fill out prior to your initial consultation. We would like both of these forms to be filled out and sent to us prior to your consultation (you can email them to [email protected].) Reading and filling out these forms will help us expedite your consultation and get to the more important questions.

Your In-Office Consultation Experience

Our doctors strive to be available for all of our patients. Dr. Young is always available to his clients through his personal cell phone at all times. For urgent issues, you can call the office and get a hold of our doctors anytime. When you come in for your initial consultation, you will be greeted by one of our patient coordinators. We try to spend as much time as possible to understand what you are looking for. We listen to your concerns about any of the procedures. We want you to get the changes and results that you desire.

Imaging, Evaluation & Personalized Recommendations

During the consultation for certain procedures, we also have computer imaging available so that you can see the possible results that could be attained. We will show you before and after photographs to give you an idea of what to expect. The doctor will assess you and your health history and make recommendations to attain your goals. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask our patient care coordinators and our doctors your questions and relay any of your fears about the entire process.

Pre-Procedure Planning & Ongoing Support

After you decide on a procedure and schedule it, we have a pre-procedure consultation in which you will be given your AFPS (Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery) care package, including medications to avoid. We will discuss the type of anesthesia that would best suit your personal needs for the particular procedure you are having done.

After your consultation, you can have access to our doctor's personal emails, which they check several times a day to make sure your questions are answered. On the day of your procedure, we will spend time reviewing your personal case with you.

Post-Procedure Care & Follow-Up

After the procedure, we will have our nurses go over all of the post-procedure instructions with you and your caretaker. We would like you to call your doctor the evening of your procedure. Our staff of doctors, medical assistants, and nurses will make sure that you are being taken care of, that you are recovering well, and answer any questions that may arise. For most of our procedures, you will also visit us the following day to have our doctor check you and ensure that everything is going fine.
