Refresh and refine the eye area with a precise approach designed to restore openness, balance, and a naturally rested appearance.
What Is Eyelid Surgery?
Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a procedure that removes or repositions excess skin, muscle, and fat in the upper and/or lower eyelids. Upper eyelid surgery typically addresses loose or hooded skin that can create a tired or heavy appearance, and in some cases, may even affect vision.
Lower eyelid surgery focuses on under-eye bags, puffiness, or contour irregularities that contribute to a worn or aged look. A key part of this procedure is determining whether fullness or hollowness is the primary concern. In many cases, restoring volume—rather than simply removing tissue—leads to a more natural and balanced result.
For upper eyelid surgery, the incision is conveniently hidden within the natural eyelid crease. Depending on your anatomy, skin alone or both skin and orbicularis muscle may be removed. For lower eyelid surgery, the incision can be placed inside the eyelid when only fat removal is needed, or on the outside when skin and muscle removal is also required.
