Personable, knowledgeable, professional and fun describe Dr. Young and Aesthetic Facial Clinic to a "T! I had broken my nose numerous times growing up (rough and tumble athletic life), and was self-conscious of how bent it was. Not very girly! I sent Dr. Young some pictures for an estimate on costs and suggestions to procedures. What immediately sold me, he was the only surgeon to call me the next day after receiving them and speak to me directly - how great is that? After reviewing his website and being completely impressed with his published papers and experience (in particular with transgender people and crooked noses) I was ready for the in-person assessment.
Long story short, I agreed to the process and bought into his ideas of symmetrical beauty and what I needed. He was always very sweet with a big smile and a calming lovely demeanor. And the end result?! It is all I had hoped. A complicated situation easily rectified with his skilled hands. Gifted.
The one negative, which I've spoken with him about, he is so busy and sometimes gets caught in surgery for longer than expected that he is not always spot on with his appointments. Nature of the beast, I suppose, but he has assured me it is on his radar to imporove.

I previously had my double eyelid surgery in Korea and the right eyelid came undone unfortunately so I went to Dr. Young to see if he could re-do it. Of course he couldn’t make it look exactly the same as my left eye but it’s been more than a year and the swelling has yet to come down 100%. I’m kinda sad I look like I have swelling eye forever but they’re super friendly and attentive throughout the whole process.

Dr. Young is not only an extraordinarily skilled plastic surgeon, he is practically a miracle-worker, in my humble opinion. I suffered for years with deformed ears and had numerous consultations and surgeries with other surgeons, so I have a considerable basis for comparison. He is the very best by far!

My previous surgeries had left my ears still deformed, one surgeon correcting a defect created by a previous surgeon but himself then creating a new defect. HI GUYS, I just had fat transfer done on my under eyes and cheeks with Dr. Young about a month ago, and I LOVE my results.
I'm 25 years old and I had deep and dark hallows under my eyes that made me look tired all the time. So while everyone told me that I was too young to get anything done and that it's not safe to do fat transfer, I believed in Dr. Young and his talent after I saw him and all his patient's beautiful before and after photos .
Dr. Young and his staff are super sweet, friendly, and honest. At my consultation Dr. Young told me that it would look more natural for me to add a small amount of volume to my cheeks as well, and I'm so glad I listened to him. He also told me that the fat transfer will help with the skin tone but will not make the darkness go away completely. Now with more volume on my cheeks and under eyes I see my face look more round than square, more feminine, and healthier looking. And this is all I wanted in first place. the only thing is that my skin is still little dark around my eyes, the fat transfer helped %100 with the hollows, and helped some with the skin darkness, just like Dr. Young said. I would totally do this all over again, this was a life changing experience THANK YOU DR. YOUNG. I can't stop taking selfies :):):)

The Staff was really pleasent and helpful, I received the acne treatment and this is is the only place that helped with apearence of my scars, the downtime is long and worst than we expected but the results are worth it. If your reading this in hopes to improve your scars make sure to watch all the videos he post so you could more prepared.

When I approached Dr. Young about an otoplasty on my earlobes that I had enlarged to 1 and 1/4" he was immediately attentive and compassionate. He took the time to listen to the history of my earlobes and the process' I went through to expand my them and conceal them. His attention to detail allowed him to troubleshoot my case. He examined my ears thoroughly and took into consideration factors that would challenge the restoration of my ears' anatomical integrity. One major challenge was the lack of tissue - a result of my removing tissue to expand my lobes. Dr. Young discussed all of the challenges involved. He offered me a comprehensive treatment plan. That plan addressed everything from the actual surgery process, to ear and facial feature proportions, to aftercare, to long term scar treatment.

Three years later I am back in Dr. Young's clinic to begin a laser scar treatment. Though the scarring from the initial surgery and healing process was minimal, Dr. Young is determined to give me the best end result possible. Several years later he has followed through with the comprehensive treatment plan. My ears are proportionate to my face, scarring is minimal, and people who never knew I had enlarged lobes are surprised to learn the story because they cannot see any evidence of an otoplasty.

I have also received Botox/Dysport and microdermabrasion from Dr. Young following my otoplasty. With the Botox he was especially concerned with achieving a balance between ridding my forehead of furrow lines and maintaining a natural expression.

Dr. Young did a fantastic chin reduction on me. The results look natural, and the recovery was easy. He and his staff have been proactive in making sure things are going well, and they've been responsive when I had questions. They're also trans-friendly, which I appreciate.

I had a scar on my lip from the time I was like 6 or 7 years old. I went to Dr. Young to have it revised. I was really nervous since it was on my lip and if I were to get “botched” the face is kind of the worst place to have that happen. Dr. Young assured me I would be fine and I was! It was literally painless and I’m so happy to have this done. I still have a small scar but it is so much smaller and hardly noticeable anymore. I've had a busted nose for years, mostly due to boxing from an early age, my nose was broken multiple times and eventually the additive damage got too much for me. I cringed looking at myself in any picture with a bright flash -- it exposing how bad my nose had gotten. My case was more complicated than most, Dr. Young had to transplant cartilage from one side to the other -- where it was completely smashed from years of damage -- my surgery taking 8.5 hours.

The recovery was a breeze. A 3/10 on the pain scale when I woke up and only getting better thereafter. Dr. Young was very responsive over text messaging whenever I had questions come up throughout the recovery. Once the gauze was out of my nose on day 2 the post operative care was just an inconvenience at worst. The nose remained rather swollen for several week but by day 10 was already looking better than the not-swollen but crooked nose I had before. As predicted by Dr. Young it only got better from there over the next several months.

Dr. Young and his team did an outstanding job. I'm one year removed from the operation with all swelling subsided and I don't remember my nose being this straight -- ever. Admittedly I had this done for aesthetic reasons but I find there is a noticeable difference in my breathing as well. I never knew how bad it was before.

Pulling the trigger on this was probably one of the best decisions I have made in the last ten years. Dr Young changed my day-to-day life for the better and not by a little. I literally wouldn't change a thing about the result.

I had Rhinoplasty and Fat Transfer to my upper lip and the results are truly amazing. The staff is really nice and Dr. Young is very precise and passionate about his work. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better result. My nose used to make me look grumpy and didn't really fit my face at all but now it is a perfectly natural looking cute sloped button nose. He also perfectly refined the tip and it all looks so great. The Fat Transfer also came out wonderful, my lips look and feel completley natural and I get compliments all the time but it doesn't look fake like with lip fillers. All in all I highly recommend him and his staff, they are all very caring and make sure you're getting exactly what you want. The aftercare was also really great and they kept an eye on me all the time and monitored my progress consistently. Rhinoplasty really isn't an easy surgery to do and to find a doctor that listened to what I wanted and was willing to do whatever it took was surprisingly difficult. Also the fat Transfer is hard to find a doctor that does it, let alone a doctor that can achieve such good results.

Dr. Young was the first plastic surgeon to operate on me and the only plastic surgeon to feel an in person consultation was the best route to go. Other just asked for pictures and wrote up a bid, as if they were bidding on a home remodel.
He met with me, worked with my schedule and explained the process in it's entirety. Afterwards, he was only a phone call away! He monitored my health via photos, text and consulted with my PCP in addition to the normal follow-up appoints.

Dr young and his team are fantastic. They know what us acne sufferers go through. In one procedure, I literally feel like I’m living a new life. I’ve just never accepted my acne scars and like that, Dr young hasn’t accepted the normal procedures that are being sold to us. Dr. Philip Young Is an outstanding person, who makes you feel very comfortable and at home. I received Otoplasty from Dr. Young, and have been enjoying the results. Something I want to note to people who are doing any kind of surgery, is to do all your research before committing to any doctor, and make sure to communicate everything to the doctor as well, its easy for you to see your vision of you, but it takes time for the doctor to see it as well. A family member needed a keloid about the size of a spherical quarter removed from his ear. It had been there for about 4 years and was actively getting bigger. I had a botched blepharoplasty done 23 years ago with a unresearched cosmetic surgeon. About 10 years after, found Dr .Young on Google and consulted with him regarding possible re-vison . At that time he felt I that I was un-sure about surgery he sent me away to think about it vs trying to convince me to get it done and take my money. 13 years later I Google “blepharoplasty” and he is STILL the first doctor that pops up! Post operatory process was smooth in terms of recovery 2 weeks after procedure and he is available anytime via text/phone call/email right away! These are the reasons you should consider Dr. Young:

I have always been self-conscious about the width of the bone across the middle of my nose. I also had an unattractive bulbous tip at the end of my nose. Consequently, I had been reluctant to have my picture taken. I visited several plastic surgeons and they told me that there was very little they could do about those issues. This is the story of how my terribly messed up eyelids were saved by Dr. Young.

Before my first surgery in Vietnam by another surgeon , my eyelids were originally drooping. They felt very heavy when it got dark, so I thought I needed some helps. I had wanted to get otoplasty done for many years and I went to Dr. Young. I felt taken care of from the very first call I ever made to his office. I was nervous for my surgery, but Dr. Young was able to calm me down and walk me through the procedure. On the day of the surgery, I was treated really well by him and his staff. The surgery was pleasant, and I didn’t feel any pain because the numbing was used so well. I have had no complications post surgery and healed just as he said I would. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Young and his entire staff. I chose Dr. Young because I had a reconstructive nose job that was going to be really challenging and during our initial meeting, he laid out all of the potential risks while also showing me how he could make my very unattractive, not well functioning nose more functional and more attractive with the limited tissue he had to work with. He was practical, personable and clearly knew what he was doing. I appreciated that he took so much time "morphing" me a new nose to review. After the surgery, I experienced amazing after-care. The nursing team, Julie, and Dr. Young were amazing. They really want you to look good, feel good and be happy with your results. My case was fairly intense. I had tissue harvested from both of my ears to help rebuild by nose, so I was in the office quit a bit after my procedure. They really wanted to make sure there was no infection and that everything was healing properly. I've never experienced after-care to that degree. I was born with a very deviated septum which had always made it difficult to breath, and a bulbous tip that I wanted to be a bit more narrow. During my consultation with Dr. Young, he gave some great recommendations of what would work best for my face and used digital software to give me a preview of how I would look after the procedure.

I recently went here for acne scar removal surgery and I’m absolutely just blown away by the results! I’ve suffered from acne scarring since my early teenage years and searched everywhere to find a solution. After moving to Washington I found Dr. Young’s office and was very impressed by his theory behind his acne scar removal process. It was much different than all the other places that I had been to in the past. It scientifically made sense and motivated me to give it a shot. Cystic acne has always been a problem for me. Almost 10 years ago, I had a cyst on my cheek that was removed from a dermatologist during my time living in California. I always knew that there would be a scar, but I wasn't made aware of the "dog ear" bumps that would be present after the cyst removal.
I probably would have just left the cyst if I had known about the dog ears.
The dog ears were the first thing I would see when I looked at myself in the mirror. It was something that was CONTANTLY on my mind - a mix of regret and self-pity. I couldn't escape those thoughts either. I had tried fraxel laser treatment and microneedling, which helped a little, but did not give me the results I wanted. I began to lose hope and began thinking that this was something I would have to live with forever.

He gave me two choices - one was an aggressive laser treatment and the other was creating another incision to flatten the dog ears. Dr Young is an amazing facial plastic surgeon. I had what you would call a weak or receding chin. This affected my whole facial appearance! Side profile was unbecoming and it played a major role in my low self esteem. I never knew how bad it was actually until a few friends joked around and called me Little Wayne a known rapper with a weak chin.
